Micro Grids

Microgrid design, operation, and energy management

Research Summary

Microgrid research addresses the design and operation of localized energy systems that integrate distributed generation, storage, and loads. This includes thermo-electrical microgrids for buildings and airport infrastructure, energy management systems with Model Predictive Control, and integration of renewables and electric vehicle charging.
